Kneaders Bakery and Cafe is currently hiring a seasonal Production Baker for our Main Bakehouse in Orem, UT.  

The Kneaders brand is built on delighting our guests in a way that creates loyalty. We do this by offering fresh, high quality food, provide comfort to the guests and building meaningful relationships with our guests, community, employees, vendors and suppliers. We are looking for individuals who can help provide fresh food, promote a comfortable environment and enhance caring relationships to join our team.

Kneaders is looking for a highly motivated baker with a desire to learn and grow who can help us build the brand, develop others, and deliver results. Kneaders is growing quickly providing many opportunities for growth for those who excel and develop into an outstanding performer.

The seasonal period has started and will go until the end of the year with the chance to stay on at the end of the seasonal period.  


  • As a Production Baker you manage the production and baking of pie-shells, pie tops, eclairs, breads and more
  • As a Production Baker you must be able to meet exacting standards
  • The Production Baker will bring smiles to the faces of our customers through Kneaders recipes and products
  • As a Production Baker you will report to and communicate regularly with the Executive Corporate Baker
  • The Production Bakers will work in a commercial kitchen environment with heavy duty mixers, slicers, industrial machines, ovens and more
  • This is an active role, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects, bending, and standing, stooping and walking, with or without the carrying of objects


  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a Food Handler's Permit
  • Culinary education and experience in not a must but is a plus
  • Must be able to follow instructions and recipes to meet exact standards in an effort to maintain the highest quality
  • Enjoy an environment of learning and excellence in daily baking operations
  • Must be able to work quickly and independently
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to follow recipes and procedures
  • Must be able and willing to maintain a clean and efficient working environment
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks (able to lift 50 lbs. above waist)
  • This is a high volume production environment and you must have a high sense of urgency
  • Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a stressful environment
  • Regular schedule will be 7 am - 3 pm Monday - Friday
  • Starting wage is $11.50
  • Enjoy Saturdays and Sundays off during non-peak seasons, some weekend work will be required during peak times or holidays
  • Must be able to work during holiday season and on Holidays
  • Need to commit for at least a year
