Facilities and Maintenance Technician

**FULL-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE**

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician to Assist the Facilities Team in Maintenance and Repair of Buildings and Restaurant Equipment

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively problem solve to quickly make repairs on facilities and equipment. Job will require a working knowledge of multiple trades and disciplines.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
• Light clerical and use of computer/app work order ticket system
• Perform basic drywall, plumbing, electrical, light mechanical and refrigeration maintenance
• Complete work assignments and priorities in a timely manner
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment, and tools
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Interact with third party vendors and delegate work on behalf of Facilities Director

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills
• General mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication skills; speak, read and write English
• Ability to work evenings and weekends (as needed)
• Ability to travel within the state of Utah and occasional out of state
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Required Education and Work Experience:

• Refrigeration, Plumbing and Electrical repair experience
• Experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Course work or certification in welding, electrical, mechanical automation, or industrial electronics is preferred, not required
• *Prior experience in restaurant management, maintenance, or facilities management strongly preferred
