Kneaders is eager to fill the position of Human Resources Director at our main campus at 1980 N. State Street in Orem, UT.  The qualified candidate will possess the quality to motivate and personally advance the employee experience for the Kneaders team.  This person will thrive on daily variety in their work. 

Job   Skills and Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Manager will have direct responsibility over staffing, employee relations, policy creation and administration, benefits and the employee experience across the business.  Duties will include recruiting top talent, growing the pipeline of management individuals, HRIS management (BambooHR), ATS (Applicant Pro), benefits, workers compensation management, employee turnover tracking, employee safety, posters, employee motivation, etc.  The proper management of these programs will insure that Kneaders is an employer of choice.

The successful candidate must be committed to a relentless   pursuit of growing the best fast-casual workforce.    Specific, desirable skills include:

Technical Skills: The successful candidate will understand HRIS and payroll systems and will understand how to pull reports for analysis and ACA compliance.  They will understand and seek out new innovations, benchmark developments and HR trends.

Decision Making: This   job is best suited for individuals who are accustomed to making many time-sensitive decisions, with the goal of reducing risk in employment.  They will also be dedicated to hands-on training standards throughout the organization and with franchisee members. The job will include maintaining overall staffing, assisting store managers and proactively navigating peak season spikes in the 4th quarter.  Knowledge of internal audits of HR systems and documentation a plus.    

Management Skills: As the Manager/Director of Human Resources, you will have impact across all stores and locations.  Travel to new   and existing stores may be part of your scope. Management duties will vary and will include communication, motivation, teaching and coaching of managers and front-line employees.

Communication: Professional communication, writing and speaking are required. Ongoing documentation of HR practices and policies is vital.  

Time-Management:  The successful execution of this job also includes assisting with daily operational needs, especially during peak seasons, holidays and events.  

Duties & Skills:

  •   Experience in adopting a new HRIS platform a plus
  •   Consult, educate and train employees on latest company policies
  •   Assist and support management and operations as needed
  •   PHR Certification preferred

Other Qualifications

  •   Willing / able to travel overnight for business – 10% or less
  •   Strong relationship management capability
  •   Strong planning and organizational skills and high attention to detail
  •   Ability to work effectively without supervision, showing initiative, good judgment and superior decision making   skills
  •   Problem solving and analytical skills

This job operates in a professional office environment in and around kitchen equipment and office features.

Required Education and Experience
  Must have a minimum of three (3) years in Human Resources with at least one year in recruiting.
