Job Title: Traveling Pastry Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate pastry chef to join our team as a traveling pastry trainer. As a traveling pastry trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to our staff across different locations. You will be required to travel frequently to different sites, and work closely with the management team to ensure consistent quality and standards are met. You are required to be training in each location every 2 weeks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver training programs for pastry production and decoration techniques.

• Conduct training sessions on pastry making, baking, decorating, and presentation.

• Train staff on the use of specialized pastry equipment and tools.

• Work with management to establish training objectives and standards.

• Monitor pastry production and quality across different locations.

• Provide feedback and coaching to staff to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Assist in Development of training materials, including manuals, presentations, and videos.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new pastry techniques.

• Maintain and help clean and organized kitchens across your region.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pastry chef or pastry trainer.

• Excellent knowledge of pastry production and decoration techniques.

• Ability to teach and instruct others in pastry making and baking.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel frequently.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different environments.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy pastry equipment and ingredients.

Other requirements:

Mandatory Pastry Trainer Weekly Call

Must maintain 3 week schedule

Must submit training form daily

Must maintain regional contact list

Must maintain training tracking sheet for region

As traveling pastry trainers we do not involve ourselves with:

Store Drama

Pay Rates

Covering for chefs days off

Actions that will result in termination:

Contributing to bad culture

Not following processes and procedures

Time Theft

Bad language

Lateness
